Poached eggs


Serve with toast and baked beans

Ingredients

› 250 ml water
› pinch of salt if desired
› pepper
› 10 ml of vinegar
› 3 eggs

Method

1. Put the water into a saucepan or frying pan, add the salt, pepper and
vinegar. Bring to the boil.
2. Break the eggs into the boiling, salted water. Simmer gently
until the eggs are set. (This takes about 2–3 minutes.)
3. Remove the eggs from the saucepan and serve.
